Worth A Thousand Words

A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say. Much of the art here can be considered “one-off’s”, the original canvas for sale and unable to be replicated. Other pieces are available as prints and are no less special than the original paintings, simply more available. Plants have meanings, and many of my botanicals are based on the “secret” language of flowers. Artwork here follows the same central theme, that of scientific botanical sketches in color.

Some of the landscapes here are real places, mountains, rivers, and forests that I have grown up with or visited. Others are purely creations of the mind. This art includes sweeping vistas along with silhouettes of trees and other natural objects.

Space

The vastness of space is fascinating to some, frightening to others. Constellations, galaxies, and nebulas can be found in such a variety that it is impossible to tell whether art based on them could actually be possible or not.
